50th YEAR ANNIVERSARY

On 1st January 2020 RUFFORD PRINTING COMPANY enters its 50th YEAR OF TRADING.

To celebrate this we have produced 50 copies of a totally LETTERPRESSS CALENDAR which is available from our PRINT WORKS @ CEDAR FARM
It is unbeliveable to think that on Friday 2nd January 1970 when the age of majority was lowered from 21 to 18, I went to the William Deacons Bank in Burscough Bridge to open an account in the name of Rufford Printing Company.
I was an 18 year old young man with an Adana 8×5 hand platen and an ambition.
Having suffered a life changing accident 2 years previously, printing started as a therapy and then became a way of life.
