Open Day 12th October 2014

On Sunday 12th October (this Sunday coming) we are having an OPEN DAY the event will run from 10.30am till 3.30pm when you will be able to come and try your hand at Letterpress printing, free! You will be able to print the card in the pictures and it should be possible to personalise it with a strap line "Printed by…………"

Great North Run

BRIAN & JOAN wish to say a big THANK YOU for the support they received from people at Cedar Farm and the generosity of their customers and friends for the Great North Run, they completed it in a time of 2.43hrs. Especially Cedar Beaders they were great in their support again. We raised almost £500 for Muscular Dystrophy. Will & Fleur

Aimee and Simon

My Intertype machine…

There is nothing like a galley full of freshly cast Linotype slugs, these I cast last week on the Intertype, I always think of my late friend John Bretherton from Cranden Press in Preston who sold me this machine and came and taught me how to use it. He was a very knowledgeable and kind man, sadly missed.
