We have been composing type on our feisty Intertype linecasting machine, in preparation for printing a book of poems letterpress on 100% cotton paper. Here are a few pictures of the Intertype

This poem was written especially for 2 peope who fell in love whilst playing rugby, we designed and printed this on 100% cotton paper (Cranes Lettra) and 160gsm Goatskin Parchment

A touch of Kipling…

This Kipling verse was hand set 18pt Bembo with 72pt Bodini Ultra Extended Headline, then printed on the Arab Treadle Press, it is available as a card limited edition of 10

Claire’s 21st Birthday present…

Last week we printed a Life Poster for Claire, on Goatskin Parchment, we printed this in 2 colours on our Arab Treadle Press

Open Afternoon…

Thanks to everyone who came to our Letterpress Open Afternoon especially Matt Reid-Jones and his wife and Ken Burnley our Letterpress guru, we had a good time casting type on our Linotype Machine; hot foil blocking and letterpress printing on our Arab Treadle press, Look out for our ext one they are completely FREE!

Dont forget our Open Studio tomorrow afternoon from 12 till 4 its completely free. Try your hand at printing on our Adana hand press, Arab treadle press or even Hot Foil on our bench foiler.
